Dan Rather vs. Les Moonves
Before the lawsuit, Rather defends comments about successor
Dan Rather had to find himself on the defensive more than once from CBS head Les Moonves, first with the whole "memogate" regarding the National Guard service of former U.S. President George W. Bush, and later when his comments about successor Katie Couric were labeled by Moonves as being sexist.
Rather went on Fox News back in 2007 to try and convince the American public (or at least those who watch Fox News) that his comments were not about Couric's gender, but about her work.
Does he pull it off? And is this how he'll conduct himself in court with his continuing scapegoat lawsuit against CBS?
We'll have to find out.
