Forget about "Fame," someday the biggest directors in Hollywood will line up to do a movie version of "Glee."

The new Fox series from "Nip/Tuck" creator Ryan Murphy drew a large crowd at San Diego Comic-Con last month to air the first full episode after the pilot, and drew a standing ovation from a crowd that even included "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Dollhouse" creator Joss Whedon.

"Glee" could redefine comedy for Fox this season, or it could be one of the best shows no one watches.

We'll find out when "Glee" returns this fall.
