There are many who fear "Fringe" could meet a similar fate as another Fox show "Dollhouse."

While producers have made it clear the network supports the show that stars Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson and John Noble, it's not doing "Fringe" any favors by pulling it from the network's February sweeps schedule.

Fox had made a similar move with "Dollhouse" for November sweeps, and no sooner had the network announced the change, it also announced that no more episodes after the 13 already ordered would be produced.

There's been no such announcement yet for "Fringe," but now there's a possibility it could be looming.
