Zack Addy Returns To 'Bones'
Re-appearance of actor Eric Millegan is a done deal
He's smart, talented and some might even say utterly brilliant, Dr. Zack Addy - assistant to Dr. Temperance Brennan - will be making a return to the Fox series, "Bones." And, unlike last season's finale, it will actually be him.
Actor Eric Millegan has sealed a deal to return to the popular forensic series to reprise the same role he held in the first three years of the series before he was written out. His appearance will mark a milestone for the series as it reaches the 100 episodes mark.
Zack will be back, executive producer Stephen Nathan confirmed, according to EW.com.
Millegan, who was written out of the series at the end of its third year, has previously reprised his role a handful of times with the most recent being a "dream" episode where he wasn't quite the same Zack.
The episode, which is set to air on April 8, will return to the classic "Bones" days when Zack was still a lab assistant at the fictional Jeffersonian Institute and will also include the first every partnership between Brennan (Emily Dechanel) and FBI Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz). The outing will also feature the first encounter between Zack and Booth, a key event in the interpersonal skills of both characters.
"Bones" returns to Fox January 14.
