Joss Whedon's Next Move To FX?
Nothing definitive, but there is lunch involved
Next week, Joss Whedon yet again will air a series finale on Fox with the last of "Dollhouse." But could he stay with the company and jump over to cable?
John Landgraf, president of Fox's cable channel FX, told reporters during the Television Critics Association press tour Sunday that he is having lunch with Whedon within the next couple weeks, although he didn't elaborate whether it was an official pitch, or simply a casual get-together.
Whedon, whose credits also include "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Angel" and "Firefly," likely will stay with television, although his next move isn't clear. He is slated to direct an episode of "Glee" this season, which likely will not involve space cowboys, vampires or people with wiped personalities.
After that is nothing more than a shrug.
"I don't really know Joss, but I'm really looking forward to meeting him," Landgraf said, according to HitFix. "I love his stuff."
