For Holloway, 'Lost' Is Just The Beginning
Sawyer reveals his acting ambitions once the landmark series ends
"Lost" is still a hot property as far as the industry is concerned, but that doesn't mean the cast will take a cooling off period once the show completes its run.
Actor Josh Holloway, who plays Sawyer on the series, has revealed that although "Lost" may have propelled him forward, he still plans to read for the roles he really wants. And, as far as he is concerned, his career is "just getting started."
Before being shipwrecked on a mystical island, Holloway has only appeared in a few minor roles (including a small stint in the vampire drama, "Angel") and he still expects that to be the case ... but he is prepared to work for the parts he wants.
"It'll be back to the audition room, and I'm game," he told People magazine. "I don't want straight offers - I want to read for things. I want to prove to myself and to that town that I can go forward. I don't want anything given to me."
