Production Freezes On 'Two And A Half Men'
Star Charlie Sheen enters rehab following domestic violence allegations
After several allegations of domestic violence, culminating in an arrest on Christmas Day, "Two And A Half Men" star Charlie Sheen has entered rehab and a production freeze has hit the series.
The series was in the middle of producing the 19th episode of its 23-episode season when Sheen voluntarily agreed to enter rehab. His decision comes following a series of legal problems that include his arrest on Christmas Day. According to reports on the incident, Sheen threatened his wife with a knife at their home in Colorado.
Despite the outcome of his stay in rehab he faces a domestic violence charge for the incident and is expected to enter a plea in court on March 15.
"As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility," the official statement outlined. "He will take some time off his series 'Two And A Half Men.' He has asked that his privacy be honored. No further statements are planned."
It is unclear if the current season of the series will take an extended break until production can be resumed or if the season will come to premature end.
