More Relationships Will Flourish On 'Bones'

Elon Gold wins a recurring role on crime series

This story contains minor spoilers.

There's a new lady in Booth's life and now there's a new man in Cam's. Love is definitely in the air on Fox's "Bones."

According to TVGuide, Elon Gold has been cast on the forensic crime series as a love interest for lab facilitator, Camille Saroyan (Tamara Taylor). He will appear in at least one episode and may become a potential recurring character on the show.

There are no details on his character, Paul Lidner, other than a statement by executive producer Stephen Nathan who confirmed that he will meet up with Cam "in a very bizarre way." Although, given some of the fantastical crimes that the team face on a daily basis, that wouldn't be too hard.

Former "Heroes" actress Rena Sofer has already been cast in a recurring role on the series as a relationship interest for Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz). She will play Dr. Catherine Klein, a marine biologist who will visit the Jeffersonian to assist with an investigation following a set of remains found inside a dead tiger shark. Once involved in the case, she will quickly develop a rapport with Booth and, after some sparks, the duo will agree to go out on a date.

Season five of the series has already accumulated a host of familiar faces, including Cyndi Lauper, Stephen Fry, Dan Castellaneta and Zooey Deschanel (who is also the sister of series star Emily Deschanel). In addition, former "Bones" cast member Eric Millegan will be returning to the Medico-crime lab for the 100th episode celebration of the series in April.

Booth (David Boreanaz) isn't the only one on Bones getting a love interest this season: Elon Gold has been cast as Cam's new beau, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
