'Glee' To Get Bigger In Season 2
Bigger, longer and better ... Fox make plans for the second season of 'Glee'
The first season has been a critical success, President Obama has invited the entire cast to the White House, and the live stage tour has been a sell out (all tickets sold within seconds).
What's next for Fox's "Glee?" Well, according to series creator Ryan Murphy, season 2 will make the show bigger. And, he's not just meaning in scope; it will be longer, too.
Season 2 will be much bigger and much longer, Murphy said. We are talking about doing 25 episodes as opposed to [the customary] 22.
Fox are said to be in final talks to confirm the episode order and Murphy as a few special treats planned that will fill fans with, well ... glee.
He hopes to create a sweet feeling: like I loved it when The Brady Bunch went to Hawaii. I want [New Directions] to go to some competition in New York.
The remaining episodes return on April 13 and will feature a Madonna-themed episode and also the return of Kristen Chenoweth. The season will culminate in the long awaited showdown against Vocal Adrenaline at Regionals.
