When news broke that actor Charlie Sheen, star of CBS' "Two And A Half Men," was entering rehabilitation after some domestic problems, some viewers thought that the sitcom series as we know it was all over.

Well, Sheen is now out of rehab, back at work, has pleaded not guilty to the charge of domestic assault, and the series remains unaffected ... so far.

The actor appeared in court on March 15 for an incident that occurred on Christmas Day where the star allegedly assaulted his wife. TMZ.com is also reporting that the actor has apparently entered a plea deal and the prosecution is not seeking any jail time. A trial date has been set for July 21.

Production has already commenced on the final episodes of the current season and all 22 episodes will be completed with little (if any) impact to the scheduled broadcast.

The series returns with new episodes on March 22.
