When you see Michael Rosenbaum now, it's hard to imagine him as the bald super villain that was the antagonist throughout the first seven seasons of The CW's "Smallville."
And soon, the actor will become even further removed from his previous ambiguously gray character as he takes on a leading role in a new series he created.
Syfy has commissioned a pilot episode for the series "Saved By Zeroes," a new show that was based on Rosenbaum's experiences as an actor. The show will be a 30-minute science-fiction comedy about two actors who are living off their cult status after starring in an old sci-fi series.
Jonathan Silverman has been cast as Rosenbaum's partner in crime, and when the two characters hit the bottom of the barrel, they will work together to put not only their careers, but their lives as well, back on track.
