Creator: 'Bones' Regular May Die In New Season
Upcoming season will also explore relationships both together and apart
Stars David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel joined creator Hart Hanson to give fans a little insight into the events of the fifth season and the future for the six-year old series. The two series leads bantered playfully in front of a packed crowd, leaving series creator Hart Hanson to sit between them as the patient parent.
So what can fans expect from the new season when it returns in the fall? Hanson hinted that a major character may be killed, but wouldnt divulge any clues. He also didnt give away much about the long-awaited Booth/Bones reunion scene, which has been recently filmed. News has already leaked to the web however that the reunion will take place a mere 7 months after the duo parted ways as the old team re-forms to help Cam (Tamara Taylor) save her job.
Hanson did assure fans that the Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) and Angela (Michaela Conlin) romance would be explored intact : but it will face its own difficulties.
As the season opens, Jack and Angela are living an excellent life in Paris," he explained. "An excellent life. Then one of them blurts out an important fact.
What that "interesting fact" was however remains a subject of speculation. When asked on the possibility of pregnancy, Hansom simply replied, There are any number of important things a person could tell another person."
Other ideas under discussion for the new season included the return of Zack Addy, the possibility of a 3D episode, and a new villain. Referring to The Gravedigger of earlier seasons, Hanson posed a cryptic question to the audience: if The Gravedigger is Evil Bones, then what happens when you meet Evil Booth?
Fans in attendance refused to be diverted from the subject of Booth and Bones. Talking about the controversial finale of season five, Deschanel insisted that she found it an interesting way to end the season.
But Boreanaz on the other hand had stronger words about it.
"Im here to catch you when you fall : and she decided not to fall at all."
Fans should never give up hope, though, as Hanson reminded them, Everything happens eventually.
