Femmes Fatales Will Spice Up 'Human Target'

New cast added to eliminate the 'boys club' of season one

When "Human Target" returns for its sophomore season in the fall, Christopher Chance will be joined with two new leading ladies ready to assist in his breathtaking adventures.

Heeding the criticisms of the fans regarding their biggest pet peeve from the first season of the series, producer Matthew Miller revealed at San Diego Comic-Con that the upcoming second season will offer up a significant change in the form of two new female characters to help populate and flesh out the testosterone-filled landscape of the series. It will no longer just be a "boy's club."

The first new addition will play the wife of a billionaire who wants to buy her way into their exclusive group. Fortunately, this is relatively easy for her as our intrepid heroes have a burning desire to have unlimited resources and all those expensive billionaire toys at their disposal. But a new partner or boss is never silent, and there is a price to be paid for the use of her connections, money and toys.

The second addition to the cast will be a new recruit who grew up in and out of juvie and who was a despicable thief. Yet, a young hothead who thinks she is invincible may be just the thing that Christopher Chance needs to force him to re-evaluate how reckless he has become towards his own safely and his personal world. It will inspire him to set a better example and to be aware of how his own actions may put others at risk.

With two very different, yet essential women now heavily and integrally involved in Chance, Winston and Guerreros lives, the tension between them will become even more now pronounced. They are not used to taking orders and they will chafe under it. But when someone else is controlling the purse strings, they feel a bit more compelled to cooperate.

There is also now going to be a layer of romantic tension that will bring even more drama and intrigue to the series. Mark Valley, who plays Christopher Chance, said that working with women will change the dynamic, yet enrich the show.

So with new faces and new relationships to explore, plus a new producer to help amp up the adrenaline level on the show, Human Target is set to rev up Friday nights this fall. Find out how the new characters and higher octane of drama and adventure will ensnare viewers into staying home on Friday nights.
