'Bones' Spinoff Gets Its Lead
Chances are, you've seen him before
There's no denying that Fox's "Bones" -- starring former "Angel" star David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel -- has grown into one of the network's most reliable hits over the course of its six seasons thus far.
With that in mind, a spinoff was inevitable.
Geoff Stults, best known for his role as Ben Kinkirk on "7th Heaven," will head the show's cast as Walter Sherman, a former policeman who is an expert at finding things.
The series, given its main character's talent, will be titled "The Locator" and based on the Richard Greener book series of the same name.
Academy Award nominee Michael Clarke Duncan ("The Green Mile") has also joined the cast as Walter's partner. He's previously guest-starred on "Two and a Half Men," "Chuck" and "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody."
Stults has appeared on a number of shows over the past few years, including "Octobrt Road," "Happy Town" and, most recently, the hit CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother."
He has also appeared in films such as "Wedding Crashers," "The Break-Up" and "She's Out of My League."
